Weather: Beautiful sunrise over the Shenandoah Mountains, temperature 28 degrees.
Spent the day driving along the freeway, trying to get to Connecticut, to visit my sister and brother-in-law for the holidays. Had pretty skies until I crossed into New York state, when clouds moved in. However, I did not have to deal with any precipitation.
I arrived in Brookfield around 1500, and spent the rest of the day with family. It was a great Christmas Eve!

I will be here in Brookfield for a few more days, and will be with family until I depart for Maine.
