Hello from Alpine, Texas!

Start time: 0730

Start odometer: 29566

Weather: Sunny, temperature 42 degrees F.

After a great day, I spent this evening at a "Star Party" at the McDonald Observatory north of Fort James, Texas, viewing planets, a comet, galaxy, star cluster and nebula!  I will update this page soon.  By the way, the Geminids meteor shower peaks Thursday night, so I am planning on camping either tomorrow or the next night.  If you do not see an update, know that one will follow the next day.  And if you get the chance, look towards the constellation Gemini!
