Some good hiking and visiting of former haunts, I had another full day that lead into the night. I am sure many of you saw the Leonid meteor shower...Spectacular!

I will add more details soon, but here are the highlights:

Hiked up and beyond Mission Peak in Fremont (thanks Rupah, for taking the picture.)
Dinner at Taste of India, one of my favorites in Fremont
Dessert at Gelato's, where I got to see one of the owners and her husband. It has been a while since I have seen them. I also learned they plan on selling their share of the business and retire to a town just south of Redding. They will be missed.
Drove to Palo Alto, went to the Stanford Theatre. This movie theatre was built in the early 1900s, and has been restored. Tonight on their big screen..."The Spider Woman," a Sherlock Holmes mystery. Neat to see it on such a large screen. They also showed an interesting WW II movie, the details I will provide soon.
Saw the incredible meteor shower!
