Interesting area, with the mountains close by.

More nice scenery.  This area is part of the Matanuska Susitna Valley, also known as the Mat-Su Valley.

I stopped by a Musk Ox farm.  Alex Trebec sponsors one of the Musk Ox living here.

More musk ox watching us watching them!

This is the main barn used by the owners of the farm.

This is Eva, our tour guide.

I have never seen these animals before.

This panel describes the history of gold in the Hatcher Pass area.

There are so many wonderful views!

My next stop was at a reindeer farm...

...That also had moose...

...Same moose...

...And unusual black tail deer.

Another black tail deer.

This one was looking for food.  Though I did not feed the animals, the people that run the farm provide feed for the tourist to use.

A couple of interesting antlers!

It was intriguing to walk among these animals.

This moose was kept separate from all other animals as it was not very friendly.

A closer look at the not-so-friendly animal!
