The University of Alaska, Fairbanks.  The have a very nice campus.

This sign explains the Neighborhood Environmental Watch Network.

This is some of the NEWNET equipment.

I visited the University of Alaska Museum.  They had very interesting displays including artifacts from Russian settlers.

This and the next picture show Russian Orthodox artifacts.

These were but a few of the fine presentations in the museum.

From the campus, this shot is looking south towards Fairbanks.

This plaque tells a brief history of George Alexander Parks, to whom the Parks Highway was named.

A pretty rainbow seen as I was heading south towards Denali.

First glimpses of the Alaska Mountain Range.

This was the main building that housed the check-in desk and  restaurant at McKinley Creekside Cabins, where I stayed for a few days.

Looking south along the Parks Highway.

My lodging

This portion of my cabin faced a very pretty stream.

Standing on the porch looking towards the stream.
