Hello from Dawson City, Y. T.!

I decided to stay in Dawson City and see more of the sights.  I was also contemplating on whether or not to take the Dempster Highway to Inuvik!  This is a town in the Northwest Territory, and  north of the Artic Circle.  The road is not the greatest, but a drive up would allow some viewing of what makes the highway famous in these parts.

I will update this page as soon as possible.  Had a great day, and got to see Cheryl and Guy again!

On the streets of Dawson City!

The next few pictures were taken to test the sepia mode of my camera.

The Jack London Square, an area with an interpretive center and parts of the building lived in by Jack London when he worked his claim in Klondike.

This cabin and cache are set up similar to how Jack London lived.

Another view of the cabin, where actual logs from the original cabin were used in construction.
